What I'm Playing: Limbo

Hey, Chantal here! I just recently published a post, but have another. Just 'cause I love ya so much. Welcome to another edition of What I'm Playing. I recently bought Limbo on the Playstation Store and it gives me so much feels. (If you're a part of tumblr, you'll understand me.)

It is so deceptively simple, and that's what makes it so innovative. It's a puzzle type game, in shades of grey, black and white. Some people classify it as video game art, not bad, non? It's really short, I wish it was longer actually. You play as a nameless boy looking for his sister, the end is just so... gah. T_T Limbo is definitely more complicated than it looks, and there are traps everywhere. Some aren't even apparent until you die, which can get frustrating. Anyways this isn't a review... just an update I guess.

I like to pretend that it's me looking for Reese, seeing as she's gone to my Mom's house which got broken into and their Playstation 3 was stolen. Wtf. Maybe she was stolen too? You never know.

Scott Pilgrim vs Chantal Awesome (What I'm Playing.)

Hey everybody, Chantal here. I would like to introduce you guys. To a game. A game known as Scott Pilgrim vs the World: The Game. What a fantastic name it is. And also to a new series. What I'm Playing.  Me and Reese will occasionally post little bits and bobs pertaining to whatever game we are playing atm. That's internet speak for "at the moment." The more you know.

Anywho, my character of choice is Ramona. She has an awesome hammer, which she breaks out from "hammer" space. Get it? No. Okay. Reese likes to use Kim, she can regenerate her health, but eh. To me Ramona is way cooler, with her blue hair and her pink shorts. One thing I hate though: It's a tad difficult. Even with two people. By yourself well... let's not go there. This game is so much fun, if you're wary about buying it, you could always download the demo and test it out. But trust me, you'll most likely love it. HTH.

Also, I guess the title should be what we're playing, but eh. I play it more, so HA!
