First Thoughts On - DmC: Devil May Cry

Reese recently bought DmC: Devil May Cry. We just started playing it last night (we have not played it much because of her finals) and so far, I have to say that it reminds me of a mixture of Alice: Madness Returns, Lollipop Chainsaw, and God of War. Alice: Madness Returns is especially like this game. From the ratings while you fight, to how they introduce each new enemy, some of the weapons look different but act in basically the same manner among various other things.

The game character, Dante IS just as attractive as we first though. Score. The gaming world needs more male eye-candy. A full review may be coming later (I cannot make a promise. Sorry!) The graphics aren't the best, but they aren't terrible by any means. DmC: Devil May Cry is definitely not appropriate for children. There's a lot of swearing, almost nudity, sex, and gore. Proceed with caution if you are under 18.

(NOTE: I know that i promised a post about my games that I got for Christmas, I just have note been able to find my camera cord, but I WILL post a "haul" as soon as I do. Which will include this game and two others that we bought from eBay.)

Happy New Year and a belated Happy Holidays as well!

Weirdly enough, Reese did not ask for anything video game related this year. I did though, and I got Harvest Moon: Animal Parade and Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility. The Harvest Moon series is a very... comforting series to me. I've been playing it since Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life. No shame is felt here.
I shall upload pictures after Reese and I go on our family vacation to Calgary.

I hope your holidays went just as nicely, and you received all the video games you could handle! And I hope 2013 will treat you just as good.
